Volunteer Opportunities

If  you would like to help on any of the committees listed below, please contact any PTO officer. 

All volunteers must fill out a volunteer form, which will go home with your students in the beginning of the school year. Forms can also be picked up in the office. If you can help at home or at school, please contact us at fdllakeshorepto@gmail.com 

• • Book Fair (Scholastic)- Helps setup and sell books and materials in fall & spring.

  • Carnival - Organizes and helps with games, prizes, food, and activities for the school carnival held in March or April

  • Donuts at Dawn - Arranges donuts for students and their loved ones in October.

• • Grade 5 Recognition - Parents whose children are in 4th grade plan a celebration for 5th graders. Held in June.

  • Lakeshore Spirit Wear - Coordinates orders of Lakeshore-wear with local screen printer.  

  • Major Fall Fundraiser- helps organizes fundraiser, collect money and helps distribute items at pick up.

  • Muffins in the Morning - Arranges muffins for students and their loved ones.  Held in May.

  • Art to Remember- Help children create a special art work that can be placed on mugs, t-shirts, aprons, garden flags and much more.  Parents can order this art work in the spring.

  • Scrip - Promotes, publicizes, orders, and distributes Scrip gift cards.

  • Scholarship Committee - Review scholarship applications and present a recommendation to the PTO in May.

  • Staff Appreciation Luncheon - Helps organize a catered lunch in October

  • Teacher Appreciation Week - Helps coordinate luncheons to show our appreciation for our teachers and staff at Lakeshore.
